Summary: The Master is wearing weird shit. 50's AU.
Rating: G for good and wholesome and stuff
Characters/pairings: Master/Doctor
Author's notes: Written in text to Leah A. I can't remember the exact origin of this one but it had something to do with...somehow saying that John Simm was wholesome or something and Leah being drunk and thinking about how funny a wholesome Master was. Probably. Those texts are gone now. Explanation of series here.
“So?” said the Master, standing with his arms out. “How do I look?” The Doctor looked and raised an eyebrow. The Master was wearing trainers, faded blue jeans and a red gingham button-up shirt. This was the first time the Doctor had seen the Master in something that wasn’t a full suit or a jumper.
“Er…” he said. “Wholesome. Extremely, painfully…wholesome. Or gay.”
“Non-threatening, though, right?” asked the Master. The Doctor nodded. “Excellent!” said the Master, one fist pumping the air. “The local council is as good as under my control!” And with that he ran out of the room.
The Doctor suspected that this had something to do with that new Neighbourhood Watch policy. The Master had been finding it awfully difficult to secretly dispose of dead bodies.
And so the Doctor was really surprised when within a month, the Master was enthusiastically planning the float for the Autumn Parade. It only went to show that evil came in a lot of different forms, the Doctor mused. Some kinds involved corpses and others were wholesome and looked like parades.
