The weather is SO NICE. It's all AUTUMNY and it smells lovely every time I go outside. It's brisk but not freezing so I get to wear just the right amount of layers. I love layers! Anyway, it's also overcast and a bit rainy but this just, like, EMPHASISES all the green, making it gorgeous and beautiful outside, not to mention all the red accents due to the autumn. Besides, I love rain! Sometimes I dance in it! Anyway, I get filled with this overwhelming joy every time I leave the Haus.

Also, CANADA IS AWESOME LET ME JUST TAKE THIS MOMENT TO SAY HOW AWESOME WE ARE. BECAUSE WE ARE.

Happy Canada Day but I'm definitely a bad Canadian. I love Canada many lots but I'm too much of an Anglophile. None of my favourite things are Canadian. Except for Toronto. I love here.
But honestly, I can't tell you anything, so, um, here's a link to Saiorse's Canadiana post which makes me look like an even worse Canadian.
Oh well.

So, I started writing what I think of as the other half of the Canada-is-Wonderful Doctor Who story that I wrote and I'm two pages in and it's still just the Doctor and Master's phone conversation. OH. I know what I'll call the series! 'Bears and Marriage'. It's got assonance and it describes it! Those are two good things! Hmmmmm....but maybe I should add the word Utopia in....? I dunno. Tell me what you think, guys.

Also, I watched The 10th Kingdom over the last couple of days.

Summary: The Doctor and Rose come in to school for a chat with the Grade Three teacher of their daughter. Which they have. VERY AU.

Author's notes: I am far too lazy to learn all about the British school system for a story that is purely for my own amusement (*ignores all the research she did for her stupid self-insert*). So pretend that this takes place as a sequel to that crack story that

shinyopals wrote that had them in Canada. This one. The one with Frances. Yes. So this is basically now a crazy AU where they did actually settle down and get married in Canada (because cross-species marriage got legalised) and had a child and that is where they are. This feels more complex than just learning the stupid school system. But it will make marginally more sense if you read that story first.
Also, their daughter is called Jean because I think the Doctor thought of it like: “It’s brilliant, Rose! Because it’s Canada, right? If we have a son, we can call him Jean and if it’s a daughter we’ll call her Jean also and no-one will ever know!”
