It was made of sex. Not unlike Patrick. And I was actually standing in a pretty good place. Right near the middle, right in front of his piano and two people away from the stage.
I really need to get over my thing of: "Oh no, I can't possibly do anything that might throw off the performer." Although sometimes I wish that people at the concert would be less douchy and DRUNK. People: you are not his "biggest fan" if you come to his concert drunk. You just suck. Everyone hates you. Stop screaming in my ear. Screaming is okay. BUT NOT DIRECTLY IN  MY EAR.
I used to be closer to the front but this photographer shouldered his way past me and I let him because I thought he was just passing through but then he stood DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF ME.

I think complaining is easier for me than gushing, or something.
Because in all honesty, I really did have a great time. His music is so gorgeous, I musicgasmed a lot. I spent a lot of the concert with either a painful grin because I was grinning so hard or a sort of dreamy enthralled expression. I bet if he saw me (which he might have because the lights kept shining RIGHT ON ME OW MY EYES) he thought I was touched in the head or something.
He played a really great set, even if it didn't have This Weather but he played all my other favourites which was good. As I haven't listened to The Bachelor yet, I was worried I'd know nothing.

Oh, and also, he kind of had a hissy fit in the middle and walked off without doing Tristan. It was pretty funny to me. I feel cruel for saying so because he had technical difficulties and personal issues but even so, I couldn't stop laughing for about 5 minutes. Maybe because it was kind of surreal.
But he came back on and apologised so that was all right.
Actually, I need to say this, because this was also hilarious. If I got pissed off and had to be coaxed back on stage, I would not come back on in only an open button-down shirt and a thong. But he did. I was like, "Oh, awesome, he's back AHHHHHH AND SO IS HIS BUM. HI, PATRICK WOLF'S BUM."
Also he stripped before then too. I was not aware he stripped. But he had so many layers that with how hot it was, I can understand why. But that was a little bit funny too.

I think for my great position in front of the stage, I kind of sacrificed getting touched, though. By him AND the opening acts. Being right at the front or directly in the middle seems to have been the best place for that but it was okay. I had great angles on everything else.
....the only thing that wasn't great were these bros standing behind me who were mysogynistic homophobe assholes and I don't know why they were there. All I know is I spent a great deal of the opening acts restraining myself from punching them.
And then they were replaced later by annoying drunk people. Oh well. I had an awesome time and heard some brilliant music and that's all that matters.

Also, my dad won't stop playing Hard Times now.
